Postdocs
Yanay Popowski
Yanay is developing methodologies for the covalent functionalization of cellulose-based fabrics for industrial as well as medicinal applications. In addition, he investigates the chemistry of Azulene and its derivatives.
Yanay is interested in organic, organometallic and supramolecular chemistry, including homogeneous (asymmetric) catalysis.
Daniel Reichman
Daniel is developing methodologies for the covalent functionalization of non-woven fabrics for industrial applications. Daniel's research is focused on Smart Textiles combined new technologies and the modification of non-woven fabrics' surfaces (including viscose, polyethene, and polypropylene).
Daniel is interested in organic, nano and surface-chemistry
Graduates
Yoav Dan
Yoav is investigating the incorporation of dyes onto cellulose-based fabrics for industrial applications.
Yoav is interested in organic and biochemistry, with a particular interest toward biomedical polymers.
Dan Anavi
Dan is pursuing the modification of cellulose-based materials with a dendritic structure which offers novel features, including superhydrophobicity and luminescence.
Michael Milanovich
Michael's research is focused on synthesis and characterization of new thermally cross-linkable conjugated polythiophenes for electronic applications.
Fields on interest include organic semiconducting materials, advanced thermal analysis of polymers, AFM characterization of organic thin films.
